Established in 1991 by Troy Mason, the company has enjoyed over a decade of rapid growth, expanding into five divisions to serve its growing customer base. Techna Glass first established the Auto Glass Division, specializing in the replacement and repair of vehicle windshields. They are now the largest Auto Glass retailer in Utah and have also expanded into Las Vegas.

Mason grew up with glass. His father has been in the industry for more than three decades, and Mason worked in a glass company to help pay for college. Part way through school, he started his own glass company—Techna-Glass. “It took off so fast and got so busy that I actually had to quit school,” laughs Mason. “Now I devote myself 12 hours a day, six days a week.” He credits the company’s success in choice of products with a good business intuition and common sense. “We know how to serve our customers, and that’s what makes the difference.”
